R3 scores this 6.2/10 (Fair). The Hurom H400 excels where most cold press juicers fail — cleaning is effortless with only 3 dishwasher-safe parts and no mesh strainer to scrub. Extraction performance is strong at 65 RPM masticating. But the safety score drags the overall down: Tritan plastic scores 6/10 for juice-path material (good for plastic, but not close to stainless steel), and UL Listed is the only certification. At $499, you're paying premium price for premium convenience, not premium material safety.
