R3 participates in various affiliate marketing programs. This means that if you click on certain links on our website and make a purchase, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you.
We are disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's 16 CFR, Part 255: "Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising."
While we earn commissions through affiliate links, we maintain strict editorial independence:
Our mission is to provide the most honest, research-backed product recommendations for conscious families. Affiliate commissions help us keep the lights on, but they will NEVER compromise our integrity.
R3 currently participates in affiliate programs with the following networks and retailers:
We only partner with retailers and networks that allow us to maintain editorial independence. We refuse partnerships that require us to promote specific products or suppress negative reviews.
When you click an affiliate link on R3:
The commission percentage varies by retailer and product category, typically ranging from 3-20% of the purchase price.
There are cases where we recommend products without affiliate links:
In these cases, we still provide the same rigorous research and honest recommendations—because our mission is to help families make safer choices, not maximize commissions.
When we show "Where to Buy" options for a product, we provide links to multiple retailers (both affiliate and non-affiliate). We encourage you to compare prices across all options to find the best deal—even if that means clicking a non-affiliate link.
We believe in radical transparency. If you have questions about:
Please email us at affiliates@r3recs.com. We're happy to provide detailed answers.
R3 was founded to solve a frustrating problem: the lack of trustworthy, unbiased product research for conscious families. We've seen too many "review" sites that are just thinly-veiled affiliate farms, recommending whatever product pays the highest commission.
We're building something different. Yes, we use affiliate links to sustain our business. But our primary revenue comes from Premium subscriptions—meaning our incentive is to provide research so valuable that you're willing to pay for it, not to trick you into clicking links.
If you ever feel we've compromised our integrity for a commission, please call us out. Your trust is worth more to us than any affiliate payment.
We may update this Affiliate Disclosure as we add new partnerships or refine our policies. We'll post changes here and update the "Last Updated" date. Material changes will be announced via email to Premium subscribers.
